SUMMARY:Audio Described Performance: Roe (canceled)
DESCRIPTION:Roe\nApril 15\, 2020 @ 8pm\nThe Topfer at ZACH Theatre \nWritten by Lisa Loomer\n“At age 27\, Austin attorney Sarah Weddington won the landmark 1973 case Roe v Wade that legalized abortion\, making her the youngest person to ever successfully argue a case before the Supreme Court. A national debate ensued\, and a divide in America endures over this controversial issue. What most people don’t know is that after the case\, Ms. Weddington and Norma McCorvey\, “Jane Roe” the plaintiff\, took divergent life paths that reflect the complicated polarization in our culture. Poignant\, surprising\, and with unexpected humor\, Roe illuminated the difficult choices women make and the passion each side has for its cause.” \nAge recommendation: 13 and up \nPride Night: Thursday\, April 9\, 2020\nASL Interpreted\, Audio Described\, and Open Captioned: Wednesday\, April 15\, 2020\nPost-Show Discussion: Wednesday\, April 15\, 2020\nChampagne Opening: Thursday\, April 16\, 2020 \nEvent info: https://tickets.zachtheatre.org/single/PSDetail.aspx?psn=9567 \nRegular Box Office Hours: Monday – Friday\, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.\, 512-476-0594 ext 1

SUMMARY:Virtual Elements Dance Class: Adam Benjamin
DESCRIPTION:July 25th\, 2020 Virtual Elements class facilitated by Adam Benjamin\, UK based choreographer and teacher and a pioneer of the professional integrated dance field. Class is at 2.30-3.30 pm CT. This class will have an ASL interpretation. \n \n“Bounded in a nutshell.” These words from Hamlet came to me while thinking about the class and what I might be able to explore. Lock Down has confined us all to greater or lesser degrees; the studio is still out of bounds yet inclusive work has always been about accessing space\, so I wanted to take a look at internal spaces and see where we might go through sensing and imagining the body and space. \nClass fee is donation based from $5-20. You can donate here.  \nTopic: July Virtual Elements Class with Adam Benjamin\nTime: Jul 25\, 2020 02:30 PM Central Time (US and Canada)\nJoin Zoom Meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85406570033?pwd=cWh2bkF4SjgrZlQrMWlvdVRZTmd2dz09 \n\nMeeting ID: 854 0657 0033\nPassword: 794475\nOne tap mobile\n+13462487799\,\,85406570033# US (Houston)\n+14086380968\,\,85406570033# US (San Jose) \nDial by your location\n+1 346 248 7799 US (Houston)\n+1 408 638 0968 US (San Jose)\n+1 669 900 6833 US (San Jose)\n+1 253 215 8782 US (Tacoma)\n+1 312 626 6799 US (Chicago)\n+1 646 876 9923 US (New York)\n+1 301 715 8592 US (Germantown)\nMeeting ID: 838 4067 8222\nFind your local number: https://us02web.zoom.us/u/kxvRqTX7R \nQuestions?
