DESCRIPTION:This month’s virtual Community Conversation topic is our creation of a national gathering focused on dance and disability education in the U.S. – Refocusing Dance Education: Deafness and Disability – in Spring 2023\, to bring together those who are invested in inclusive dance practice and pedagogy at multiple levels. The planning team will present our process to date from a series of in-depth interviews and our exploration of the Austin dance and performing arts scene.
