ACCESS TO THE ARTS FOR ALL

Access has been at the heart of Art Spark Texas since our earliest days providing audio description services in Austin.

Over the past 30 years, that commitment has grown into a broader vision of ensuring that people with disabilities can fully participate in the arts: as artists, audiences, educators, leaders, and advocates.

As part of our 30 Stories for 30 Years celebration, these stories highlight the people, programs, partnerships, and innovations that have helped expand access to the arts across Texas. Together, they reflect our ongoing belief that creativity thrives when everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and belong.
