Join Art Spark Texas for their 16th annual Distinguished Artist Veterans Exhibit
This annual veteran art exhibit takes place this year at the Williamson County Art Guild Gallery in downtown Georgetown, Texas this November 6th - 30th, with the artist's opening reception on the 7th from 5-7pm. This exhibit showcases art from dozens of diverse veteran artists and the opening reception is accompanied by music from veteran artist Chris Van Loan, light refreshments and treats. Meet the artists and help us celebrate veterans in the arts.

Alongside the exhibit in Georgetown, Texas, Art Spark is launching free veteran art opportunities all month that are open to the public. Don't miss their panel on Veterans Healing Through the Arts, co-moderated by Judith Estrada Garcia and Lorrin Arrington Savage, taking place during the Rotary Club of Georgetown's quarterly meeting at the Georgetown Library's Friends Room on November 10th from 6-8pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the local veteran community and explore healing through the arts.
The following weekend in the same room at the Georgetown Library's Friends Room on November 15th is a free veteran's writing workshop taught by Sarah Colby from 1:30 - 4:30pm. Look, See, Write! is a special writing workshop tailored specifically for veterans, this hands-on event will provide a creative space for veterans to share their experiences, stories, and emotions through writing and art. Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this workshop is open to all skill levels - no experience required.
