German Culture in Texas

This 8 week series will cover historical figures and cultures of Texas.

This week, join us for a discussion on German culture in Texas. Watch our YouTube lesson to learn about German artist Max Ernst, and create a drawing that incorporates physical texture.

Supplies Needed: pencil, cardboard (or cereal box), liquid glue and crayons.

Our guest Evelynn Weinheimer, from the Pioneer Museum in Fredericksburg, will provide historical insight on early German-American life.
