MeetShareDance

MeetShareDance will take place in Austin from November 11th through the 13th, 2022.
MeetShareDance is a small immersive, participatory international event where dance teachers/choreographers and other participants with and without disabilities exchange their knowledge on inclusive dance. This festival has been organized nine times in seven European countries so far, aiming to create an international dance network.
Artist-Teachers are Monika Požek (Madrid, Spain), Eric Kupers (San Francisco, CA), Nina Martin (Marfa, TX), and Amy Morrow (Austin, TX).
Schedule of the festival:
Friday, November 11th
Location: UT Department of Theatre and Dance (300 E 23rd St, Austin, TX 78712)
6-8 pm Workshop with Monika Pozék
8 pm dinner together / or jam
Saturday, November 12th
Location: Nowlin Rehearsal Studio @ ZACH theatre (1426 Toomey Rd, Austin, TX 78704)
10 am-12 pm workshop with Eric Kupers
1-1:30 pm lunch
1:30 pm-3:15 pm Workshop with Nina Martin
Then 15 min break
3:30 pm – 5:15 pm workshop with Amy Morrow
Sunday, November 13th
Location: Downtown Austin (TBA)
11-12:30 pm warm-up
1 pm Street Parade

We will meet at UT Dance Department on Friday, and after the workshop, we are welcome to go and see the Fall for Dance performance. Saturday, we will continue the workshops at the ZACH theatre. We will meet in downtown Austin on Sunday, where we will warm up and do our Street Parade.
