Growing is an essential part of life. Sometimes we are lucky enough to choose when and how we grow; other times growth is sprung upon us – and often painfully. In either case we can be relatively certain that resisting personal growth ultimately creates more trouble. This month we invite you to share the definitive moments that provided you the opportunity to grow into the person you are now. What circumstances or knowledge compelled you to evolve? What insights did you glean from these spurts of growth? And how do these moments continue to shape who you are, and who you want to be?

Our Opening Minds, Opening Doors Speaking Advocates group is free and meets the last Saturday of every month from 1-3 PM in Room 101 of the AGE of Central Texas Building.
