Art Spark Texas' Artist of the Month for the month of October is Rachel Salcido, a talented Mexican-American painter creating incredibly rich and textured work that reflects the artist's culture, home on the border in El Paso, Texas and exploring concepts around liminality. We recently partnered with Rachel Salcido for the opening of the groundbreaking Disability Cultural Center at the University of Texas. It was an incredible event that is on view through the end of the semester (Fall 2025), so make sure to stop by, explore, or purchase to support the cultural space and the artist.
