"It all began in 1996 when Betty Siegel moved to Austin looking for something to keep herself busy while her husband was in graduate school. Lucky for us, she met Kathy and Audley Blackburn, who were as excited about Audio Description as she was. Together, they teamed up with librarians for Knowbility’s first Access Internet Rally, took home the trophy for Most Accessible Website, and Access Arts Austin was launched!" - Celia Hughes
