Art in the Park is an inclusive and accessible arts festival centering children with disabilities. Each year, students and groups enjoy a field trip day at the park to engage in accessible art activities, performances and community - all led by local artist volunteers and organizations. Although centering children, this event sees a multi-generational audience, is free and entirely open to the public.
We are seeking performers, volunteers to pop-up art experiences for the children attending, food trucks and pop-ups, and general volunteers - sign up at the links below or email [email protected] to get involved.

ATTEND
Art in the Park centers children of all ages with disabilities in an accessible venue with interactive arts, sensory tents, performances, & more. School groups, home-schooled children, & adult groups are welcome to attend & participate. This inclusive arts festival is open to the public - all are welcome to attend!
ART BOOTHS
Local art organizations, artists, & volunteers pop-up at Art in the Park to offer free make & take crafts & other engaging creative demos to children & adults with/without disabilities. Animation stations, hand-building, wheel demos, screen-printing, tie dye, textile crafts, children's music stations, sensory tents - to name a few options. MUSICIANS & PERFORMERS
Art Spark Texas is now booking musicians and performers for the 30th anniversary of Art in the Park. Musicians with a disability are given priority in the selection process and short sets are appreciated (30 - 45 minutes max). Child-friendly and engaging acts are preferred and a very large fully accessible stage, sound and equipment are provided.
