Beyond Art Showcase: Spotlighting Artists with Disabilities
This showcase series from Art Spark Texas goes beyond the finished artwork to celebrate the stories, processes, and perspectives of Austin-based artists with disabilities. Hosted at Art Spark Texas headquarters in the historic Rosewood neighborhood in Central East Austin, this showcase highlights not just the art itself, but the journey and stories behind it - the creativity, dedication, and vision each artist brings to their work.
Visitors experience more than the sale of the artist's work; they engage with the narrative, techniques, and ideas that shape each piece, gaining insight into the lives and artistry of local creators with disabilities. Beyond Art demonstrates that art is as much about the story behind it as it is about the final creation in a small group setting.
